Working Towards Cleaner Oceans
The Olive Ridley Project is on a mission to clean up, rescue, reuse & educate.
Under the I-Care program, Billabong High International School, Maldives is collaborating with the Olive Ridley Project, to help conserve and protect the marine turtles from the dangers of Ghost nets.

Starting 2018, our students will actively involve in:

creating awareness in the local community about the dangers posted by ghost nets.

Fund raising events to help the project.

Helping remove the Ghost nets from the oceans

Reuse of Ghost gear and Obsolete fishing nets.

Volunteering with sea turtles, Marine Turtle Rescue Centre, Baa Atoll, Maldives. (open to student of age 18+ years)
